Britney Spears is officially responding to major concerns about her safety. Recently, the 44-year-old singer was spotted during a wild Britney Spears G-Wagon ride. Specifically, she was sticking the upper half of her body out of the sunroof on a busy Los Angeles highway.
TMZ quickly posted photos of the wild incident. In these pictures, Spears was seen dancing half-in and half-out of the moving car. Meanwhile, an unidentified man in a white cowboy hat drove the vehicle down the 101 Freeway.
However, Spears finally addressed the situation in an Instagram post on Saturday, July 11. She posted a blurry photo from a different angle to explain her actions.
“What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords,” she wrote. Then, she added that people do not understand her reality. “Nothing is what it seems,” Spears declared.
Interestingly, Spears joked that she might need to come out of the roof even more. Currently, it remains unclear why she poked her head out of the moving car. Fortunately, her actions did not spark any official response from the LAPD.
Previously, Spears was arrested on suspicion of DUI in Ventura County last March. Eventually, she took a plea deal for a lesser charge in May. Consequently, she received a year of probation for a misdemeanor known as “wet reckless.”
This legal situation may explain why she was not driving the luxury SUV. Following the arrest, she checked into a treatment facility. Additionally, she was ordered to complete a DUI education program and continue regular therapy.
Spears has effectively retired from the music industry. Instead, she uses her Instagram page to connect with fans through energetic dance videos.
Recently, she posted a lengthy caption about mythology and fictional creatures. “I feel like perhaps there might be different worlds there,” she pondered. Furthermore, she explained that she reads millions of books to escape reality.
