Hilary Duff is currently bringing pure Y2K nostalgia to every city. First, her highly anticipated Lucky Me Tour kicked off last month. Recently, she played two completely sold-out nights at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. During these shows, she went viral for wearing a very special Hilary Duff 2004 concert tee.

The pop star wore her very own vintage merchandise for the occasion. Specifically, the shirt features photos of the then-16-year-old actress on both the front and back. Additionally, it displays a full list of her 2004 tour dates.
Fortunately, fans can also get in on the nostalgia. Duff began selling official reprints of the tee at the Forum merchandise booths. Furthermore, she made the classic shirt available on her official website.
While wearing the throwback top, Duff performed her 2003 hit single “Why Not.” As a result, fans instantly remembered the iconic Lizzie McGuire Movie soundtrack and her legendary Metamorphosis album. Recently, she also re-recorded this song for her new (Mine) EP and her latest album, Luck… or Something.

Backstage at the Forum, Billboard caught up with Duff for an exclusive interview. During the chat, they asked her about memorable fan interactions.
Immediately, Duff recalled meeting a very excited 8-year-old fan. However, the pop star laughed because the young girl’s mother seemed even more thrilled.
“They told me it was her first concert,” Duff explained. Interestingly, the mother also revealed that Duff was her first concert many years ago. Ultimately, Duff called it an amazing full-circle moment as she navigates her current return to music and motherhood.
The Lucky Me Tour continues Saturday night in Mountain View, California. Eventually, the massive run extends through early next year in Mexico City.
