Elena Rose is currently finishing up the massive European leg of her Alma tour. However, she will soon return to the United States. Specifically, the Venezuelan artist will join the upcoming Elena Rose Karol G Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour.
The Colombian superstar officially announced the exciting news on July 14. Since the two musicians are longtime friends and collaborators, the decision felt natural.
“It was super organic,” Rose told Billboard exclusively. “Karol invited us, and for me, it was something super beautiful.”
Furthermore, Rose explained that they already share several years of valuable friendship. Even though both artists have hectic lives, they always find moments to connect. “We always find a moment to hug each other, to ask each other how we are doing,” she added.
Rose will serve as La Bichota’s very first guest on 10 massive U.S. stadium dates. First, the highly anticipated tour will officially kick off with two massive shows in Chicago on July 24 and 25.
Following the official announcement, Rose immediately shared the news with her fans. Specifically, she posted a fun video on her Instagram page.
In the clip, the singer sits backstage at a concert while wearing an LED mask. Suddenly, Karol calls her phone. “Hi Mami. How beautiful, what you did at Coachella,” Rose says while answering. “You crushed it. Tell me how I can be useful.”
Next, she takes off her mask and asks which cities they will visit together. Karol reads all 10 stops aloud. Ultimately, Rose agrees immediately. “I’m down, babe; let me grab my wings, and I’ll see you there,” she laughs.
Before launching her solo career, Rose spent years writing some of Latin music’s biggest hits. For example, she wrote Bad Bunny and Rauw Alejandro’s “Party.” Additionally, she penned Karol and Becky G’s massive hit, “MAMIII.”
Meanwhile, Rose is currently enjoying the home stretch of her solo Alma tour. She will make her way back to the United States after her final European stop in Paris on July 21. Shortly after, she will join Karol on the very first night of the tour kickoff.
“I feel like I’m going on tour with a friend,” Rose explained. Ultimately, she sees this stadium tour as a massive learning experience and a chance to celebrate her friend.
