Prince Harry is definitely not the most famous British Harry. Specifically, he admitted this during a recent television interview. He believes a massive pop star actually holds that major title.
Recently, the royal appeared on James Corden’s After Hours television show. The host asked him to name the most recognizable man named Harry in the U.K. Initially, the prince played coy, but he eventually gave a very honest answer.

Prince Harry decided to give his true opinion on the matter. Therefore, he created a quick ranking of the famous British men. Interestingly, he put himself all the way down in third place.
Here is exactly how the prince ranked them:
Furthermore, he joked that he would need a “Quidditch off” to truly beat the fictional wizard.
The royal’s funny ranking makes for a great television moment. However, the actual online data tells a slightly different story. In reality, recent internet searches are highly skewed by major cultural events.
For example, Harry Kane recently led England to a third-place finish in the World Cup. Because of this massive sports event, Kane easily dominated Google search volume last month. Meanwhile, search data from the entire past year shows the fictional Harry Potter actually outranks everyone by far.

Despite the skewed search data, Harry Styles still has an incredible case. First, the pop star has four No. 1 songs on the U.K. charts. Additionally, his massive hit “As It Was” ruled the global Billboard charts for 15 solid weeks.
Ultimately, Styles proves his massive popularity through record-breaking stadium tours. If you want to read more about music news, check out our recent Rusko dubstep hiatus announcement post. Finally, we will have to wait and see if Prince Harry ever challenges Styles for the top spot.
