Chris Brown compares himself to none, stating he is tired of being measured against other singers. Brown recently shared a long statement on his Instagram Stories. He commented broadly on the music industry.
He wrote, “I wish y’all stop comparing me to other [artists] and saying me vs someone else.” Brown believes he stands apart. “Until one of these artists do all this st by themselves with no help and the media constantly fking with them, then come holla at me. I’m trying to feed my family! I could give a fk about the next artist and what they doing!” He also added, “I don’t fk with celebrities at all and I’m not welcome in their circles.”
The controversial singer continued his message. “Breezy Bowl is for the dedicated fans who actually wanna be there. Fk everything else!” he said. “I been overly busting my a for the last 20 years and I understand I will never be recognized for nothing more than drama! So miss me with all dat s**t please.” This shows his frustration with how he is perceived.
Brown also recently spoke about the difficult parts of fame. He is currently on tour in Europe. The R&B singer posted pictures of himself walking around cities alone at night on Instagram.
He wrote in the caption, “Fun fact: I like to sneak out by myself when I’m in different cities. It helps me feel human and normal. That’s really important for my mental due to the fact that I just can’t walk around freely during the day. Keeps me grounded.” Brown further explained his feelings. “Being secluded from some parts of everyday life activities will drive you insane being isolated all the time. Cook, remain humble and grateful!”
Brown’s European tour has not been without problems. He was arrested in the UK last month. This arrest was linked to an alleged assault that happened two years ago. Brown was taken into custody in Manchester. He was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. This charge relates to an incident in a London nightclub in 2023.
He was released on bail after paying a $7 million bond. He also agreed to give his passport to authorities. However, he is still allowed to travel for his tour.
