Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi is utilizing his massive platform for a truly important cause. The new Lewis Capaldi BetterHelp partnership is currently drawing widespread praise across the music industry. First, the chart-topping artist teamed up with the world’s largest online therapy platform to launch a brand-new campaign aptly named “Check Back In.”

On the outside, Capaldi appears to be living the ultimate dream. He has consistently dominated the Billboard charts with massive hits like his 2019 breakout “Someone You Loved,” “Before You Go,” and “Forget Me.” Next, he is currently headlining global tours and even recently starred in the music video for Taylor Swift’s peppy hit, “Opalite.”
However, despite snagging Grammy nominations and Brit Awards, the 29-year-old star has been incredibly open about the immense pressure of his stunning success. Capaldi has publicly battled significant obstacles behind the scenes:
Through consistent therapy, Capaldi has managed to make significant progress. Ultimately, this authentic journey is exactly why the BetterHelp campaign works so perfectly for his brand.
He previously gave fans nearly a million hours of free therapy. Now, the “Check Back In” campaign encourages people to maintain their mental health even when they are feeling good. Furthermore, the partnership includes an incredible pay-it-forward initiative: if someone redeems a free month of therapy, they can gift another free month directly to a loved one.
As BetterHelp’s Chief Growth Officer Sara Brooks noted, mental health isn’t something you solve once; it must be cared for over time.
