Metro Boomin Aims for WWE Immortality: Super Producer’s Lifelong Goal to Create Entrance Themes

Grammy-nominated super producer Metro Boomin has publicly declared one of his “lifelong goals”: to produce entrance themes for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). A well-known wrestling enthusiast, Metro Boomin’s aspirations could bridge the gap between chart-topping music and the electrifying world of professional wrestling.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Metro Boomin expressed his desire, writing, “Would love to produce some WWE entrance themes. It’s a lifelong goal of mine.” While WWE has not yet formally responded to his overture, the company has a history of collaborating with prominent musical artists. Rappers such as Naughty by Nature, Three 6 Mafia, and Lil’ Kim have previously lent their talents to create memorable theme songs for WWE Superstars, setting a precedent for Metro Boomin’s ambitious vision.

Travis Scott’s Recurring WWE Presence and WrestleMania 41 Drama

Metro Boomin’s frequent collaborator, Travis Scott, has become an increasingly familiar face in WWE programming. La Flame made a high-profile appearance during the main event of WrestleMania 41, where he played a pivotal role in John Cena’s record-breaking victory over Cody Rhodes.

During the dramatic match, Scott controversially pulled the referee out of the ring, prompting Rhodes to confront the rapper. However, this move backfired spectacularly when Rhodes was blindsided by his own signature finisher, the Cross Rhodes. This opportune moment allowed John Cena to secure his unprecedented 17th world championship title. Travis Scott celebrated his appearance on Instagram, posting photos with the caption, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.”

This wasn’t Travis Scott’s first physical encounter in a WWE ring. Cody Rhodes had previously issued a warning to Scott, promising a “receipt” after Scott landed a hard punch on Rhodes’s head at Elimination Chamber in February. That incident left Rhodes with a legitimate black eye and a ruptured eardrum. Speaking to Complex weeks later, Rhodes expressed his desire to return the favor, stating, “That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up. I am not mad so much, but I am looking and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we’ll call a receipt.” He added that he was a Travis Scott fan prior to the incident, even buying his sneakers.

Speculation is now rife that Travis Scott might even team up with John Cena and Logan Paul for a tag team match later this year, further solidifying his unexpected but impactful presence within WWE.
